This is a very unique cab. 90% built at the factory in Coventry by LTI this is a left-hand drive TXII bronze automatic built with front a/c. It was then sent to America where the build was completed to US standard inlc rear a/c and drivers air-bag. This is the 95bhp version and NOT the 75bhp on sale in the UK. It went to work as a New York taxi for 3 years but was very unpopular with the owner, drivers and passengers alike. I have spoken to the original owner - who happens to be a friend of a someone else I do business with in the States - and he told me the 33,000 mileage is genuine as only old timers drove the cab. These guys don't do the 12 hr 7 day shifts anymore. It was then sold to Canada where I purchased it from. For a NY cab, the body is in very good shape. Everything looks original. I T-cutted, polished and buffed it all up and all the panels are the same shade of yellow, and original - very unusual for a NY cab. This adds validity to the low mileage. On arrival in the UK at the end of February, the engine and gearbox was serviced, a new battery fitted, a mini-overhaul and MOT'd. This vehicle does not have EU compliance so is not registered in the UK. I can arrange all that for an additional £1,000 to include registration fee for V55 and 6 months RFL.
